From Soft truly creates some amazing universes with equally amazing stories. I will say while I like how they tell stories, it’s a sort of unfortunate how hard it can be to figure what’s going on. Especially is the souls games. But once you figure out the story, it’s always so good. It’s crazy how detailed the story can be with only getting information from mostly item descriptions.

The lore and stories behind these games are amazing. I could spend another whole 4 hours hearing this video and I’m sure I’d have the same reaction every time. Then, the bittersweet ending where at 4am you realize your aren’t an ashen one and you have to come back to the real world, and have work in a few hours lol 😂

DONT BE MAD AT ME YALL! But Bloodborne & Sekiro are the only from software/japan studios games I’ve played. I love them both, I just can’t get into dark/demon souls or Elden Ring. Just not my cup of tea but Bloodborne just might be in my top 5 greatest games of all time.

I didn't think the Nameless Puppet was Carl's human body. There's a note in the Opera House that talks about someone using a body and hoping that their actions can at best give the body used revenge which I believe explains that even with the cores it was going to be bitter and violent no matter what. Also, P cuts NP's strings, it doesn't cut its own.

There's a beautiful simplicity in Demon Souls' story. Like a grim faerytale with intervowen threads. Although I prefer the more intricate webs of the follow-ups, this is some primal stuff. The Old One and the Maiden in Black especially are such an interesting pair.

This game introduced the franchise to me, I play it to this day. The more time I spend with Valhalla's characters, story and worldbuilding, the deeper I fell in love with it
